If by any chance when you are encoding you received an error or it fails to save, kindly do these steps:
1. Go to the residents tab
2. Search the name of the resident you are trying to encode to see if he/she already has data on the system. Use the quick search bar at the top (2.a) or use the create filter tool (2.b).
3. If the name of your resident you are trying to encode is there that means the resident has already been encoded, the system will notice this and you will be unable to save again to prevent duplicates.
